Hospitality Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part Time Bartender to join our team at Alfred University. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless experience for our catered events and University fundraisers.

• Bar Setup and Maintenance: Oversee the setup and clean-up of the bar, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for our guests.
• Beverage Preparation: Mix and prepare cocktails and other drinks to the highest standards, using a variety of ingredients and techniques.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our guests, taking beverage orders and presenting drinks with a smile.
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control and liquor orders, ensuring that our bar is always well-stocked and ready for service.
• Teamwork and Communication: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with our events team to ensure a successful event.

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
