Inpatient Acute Care Registered Nurse

North Okaloosa Medical Center is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Premium Pay CONTRACT position in our inpatient/acute care setting. This role offers a competitive compensation package and is ideal for those with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical/Surgical Unit.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 12 weeks with potential for Full-Time or PRN placement
- Shift Requirements: Minimum of 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours, based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
- Foster patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in nursing
- Education: Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
- Licenses & Certifications: C-ARC-BLS, L-FL-RN License
