Job Summary

Spartan Placements LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior to join our team. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for preparing high-level corporate returns, familiar with various state tax returns, major credits, current relief acts, and prepare provisions/Fin 48 analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete moderately complex projects accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently
  • Participate in staff training and tax department meetings
  • Provide assistance to peers and others when requested
  • Proactively participate in professional development opportunities, i.e. Mentoring Program
  • Recognize and bring to the attention of upper management tax service opportunities at client

Requirements

  • Strong technology skills, with proficiency in Fast Tax
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Effective listening skills
  • Time management skills

Education and Training

  • B.S. in Accounting
  • MS in Taxation
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA Exam
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience
