Job Summary

RealSource Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our properties meet our established standards for safety, appearance, and operational efficiency. This includes diagnosing and repairing issues with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the property meets our standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with various systems and equipment
  • Inspect and maintain pool and spa equipment, fitness equipment, and laundry facilities
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring they meet our standards
  • Inspect all aspects of the property, grounds, and buildings to identify potential issues
  • Be available for on-call duties and respond quickly to resident requests
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and complete assigned training and education courses

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Certified pool operator certificate (CPO) preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend warning labels and service requests
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
