About the Role

As a key member of our Pediatric Inpatient Unit, you will be responsible for assessing pediatric patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will also play a crucial role in educating patients and their families about treatment plans and procedures, providing emotional support and reassurance throughout their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine their medical needs and monitor their progress.
  • Work closely with our board-certified pediatric hospitalists and child life specialist to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Explain treatment plans and procedures to patients and their families, offering emotional support and reassurance.
  • Maintain hospital and unit-specific competencies.
  • Advocate for the needs and best interests of pediatric patients, ensuring they receive appropriate and compassionate care.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training.
Salary and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, tuition reimbursement, and more.
