Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Accurately position patients and ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment under the direction of the Medical Director.
  • Image Quality Control: Check X-rays for clarity and retake images as needed.
  • Infection Control: Implement infection control procedures in the work area.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to equipment.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to set up and operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Patient Handling: Ability to lift and position patients for X-ray procedures.
  • Education and Certification: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Associates Degree in Radiology Studies, licensed by the Medical State Board of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience: At least two years of radiology experience in a healthcare facility, with one year in the operating room.
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday: 8-hour dayshift with part-time requirements.
