Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Janian Medical Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with mental health needs.
About the RoleAs a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans
- Delivering psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy services
- Supporting recovery goals and advocating for patients
- Participating in weekly clinical meetings with other providers
- Implementing population health interventions
- Conducting diagnostic interviews and providing psychiatric evaluations
- Developing and delivering trainings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- New York State licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Board eligibility or certification in Adult Psychiatry/Mental Health
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in New York State
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
