Job Overview
Jensen Hughes is seeking a Fire Protection Consultant to join our team in Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, or Colorado Springs, CO. As a seasoned professional, you will work on all aspects of fire protection engineering, including building code consulting, fire protection systems, and strategies. The ideal candidate has a well-rounded background in fire protection, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement various engineering design and consulting projects
- Satisfy client needs by completing tasks on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate and conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses
- Prepare and peer review project-related technical reports
- Develop fire protection strategies and alternative solutions to resolve client design issues
- Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others
Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in code consulting, design of fire suppression and alarm systems, and developing performance-based strategies
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering (preferably Fire Protection), Architecture, or related field
- Registered Professional Engineer or other professional designation preferred
- Proven experience working with Codes and Standards applicable to design discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven project management experience
