This exciting position offers a unique opportunity to serve victims of cruelty and neglect in New York City, focusing on behavioral care and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in people management and research project development.

The Senior Director will oversee the behavioral care and pathway planning for the ARC and CARE animals, ensuring their medical and behavioral health and welfare. This position will also identify key knowledge gaps and develop science-based behavioral treatments.

The Senior Director serves as a key member of the ARC and CARE leadership team, fostering strong relationships with medical and behavior team leaders across the organization. They will drive the advancement of animal health through research, application, and education, informing shelter programs nationwide through sharing of research findings and best practices.

Job Overview:
