Job Summary:

As a Nursing Assistant at Adventist Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with activities of daily living, including self-care needs, and perform routine assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with nutrition and hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices, restraints, and restorative care.
  • Take vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
  • Help patients with their basic needs, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Perform routine assigned tasks and report patients' status and concerns to the RN.

Requirements:

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
