Dialysis Travel Patient Care Technician Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Travel Patient Care Technician to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Setup and operate hemodialysis machines
- Welcome assigned patients and report any patient complaints about wellbeing to the nurse supervisor
- Monitor patient response to dialysis and report any unusual findings or issues to the nurse supervisor
- Discontinue dialysis treatment according to clinic procedures and evaluate the patient prior to discharge
- Document all information related to patient treatment

**Assignment Details:**

- 13 Week Travel Assignment

**Requirements:**

- 1 year of experience as a Dialysis Patient Care Technician
- Must meet state certification requirements as determined by clinic location
- Nebraska State PCT Certification in hand to apply
- BLS certification required
- Excellent Comprehension and Retention
- Able to work independently while striving for the best in patient care
