We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Assess clients' physical, cognitive, and behavioral abilities to develop personalized therapy plans
- Design and implement occupational therapy treatments to help clients develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document client progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
- Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers required
