Diesel Technician

TNA Fleet Services Inc is a reputable on-site mobile service company seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks in a fast-paced, mobile environment.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $29.00-$40.00 per hour, ensuring a stable income. As a Diesel Technician at TNA Fleet Services Inc, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks.
• Diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing various types of truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters, alternators, air conditioning systems, fan clutches, engine electronics, power steering systems, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions (manual and automatic), clutches, differentials, and more.
• Using basic hand tools, precision instruments, power tools, welding equipment, and jacks to perform repairs.
• Accurately completing DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Working independently with a high degree of productivity and adhering to standard repair times.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• A valid driver's license, with a CDL-A preferred but not required.
• The ability to provide own hand tools suitable for job functions.
• Excellent organizational, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently, multitask, and apply initiative.
