Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the installation, calibration, and maintenance of MRI imaging systems.

  • Utilize remote diagnostics and testing protocols to swiftly address equipment issues.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to uphold equipment reliability and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
  • Employ various tools and technical documentation to carry out maintenance and repairs effectively.
  • Engage with healthcare staff to assess their imaging requirements and provide tailored technical support.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the industry and implement best practices in MRI management.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Consult with medical personnel to ensure the safe and effective operation of imaging equipment.
  • Provide training to users on the proper operation and care of MRI systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and performance requirements during preventive maintenance.
  • Carry out modality-specific tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in MRI equipment maintenance and repair, with a focus on systems from major manufacturers.
  • Strong technical expertise in MRI imaging technology.
  • Proficient in remote diagnostics and various testing tools.
  • Experience with multiple MRI systems from different manufacturers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as required to various healthcare facilities.
