About the Role

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 14 locations across five states. We offer a comprehensive range of medical and clinical treatment services, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. Our facilities are JCAHO and CARF accredited, and we adhere to all ASAM standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments for each client upon admission
  • Perform all nursing shift duties, including screening, vital signs, scheduling appointments and labs, and updating charts
  • Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations, dispense medications, and maintain medication logs
  • Collaborate with medical, clinical, and utilization review teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one-year diploma program post-high school
  • Current, valid licensure to practice nursing in-state, or compact license with multistate privileges
  • Minimum one year of experience in the treatment industry
  • Strong critical thinking, oral, and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaborative, multitasking, and time management skills
