We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room at Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including ordering diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and a safe work environment.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Emergency Room team, including mentoring new staff members and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- One year of experience in nursing, preferably in the Emergency Room or Critical Care setting
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
