Maintenance Team Lead - Industrial Operations

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to oversee industrial manufacturing mechanical system work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and be able to lead a team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform industrial manufacturing mechanical system work, including layout, relocation, installation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, building mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Delegate daily responsibilities, coordinate contractors, log and track maintenance reports, and oversee general operations across the shop floor.
  • Assist with vendor/contractor management processes, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, equipment, and small tools/parts.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation, make necessary adjustments or repairs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all facility environmental, health & safety guidelines, encourage communication, and participate with co-workers to identify, reduce, and eliminate potential hazards.
  • Train new team members, purchase replacement and preventative maintenance parts, and assist with regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five (5) years industrial/facilities maintenance experience and knowledge.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the facility (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical college certification in industrial/facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge in PLC, circuitry, and programming.
  • Military mechanical repair experience or equivalent.
  • Firm knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
