Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Summit Health, Inc. as a Specialty Registered Nurse. This role will provide essential support to our physicians and staff in the daily coordination of patient care and physician access.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient patient flow, delivering direct patient care within the scope of licensure, and prioritizing patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and physician access.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Deliver direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with SMG policy.
  • Prioritize patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
  • 0-1 years experience; 2-4 years experience preferred.
