Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney to join our team at Thomas Talent Network. As a key member of our corporate team, you will be responsible for providing support to our attorneys and practice groups in the areas of transactional law, corporate governance, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Database Management: You will be responsible for managing our transaction database, including inputting deal terms, coordinating with our knowledge management team, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the database.
- Form and Precedent Drafting/Management: You will prepare drafts of template documents, curate and organize our M&A group's forms, precedents, and other know-how, and ensure that our practice resources are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Legal Updates: You will monitor legal and regulatory developments in the area of M&A, prepare summaries and alerts, and ensure that our practice resources are updated to reflect new requirements.
- Legal Education: You will work with our legal education team to develop content for associate trainings and other firm-wide training efforts, and assist in the development of educational materials for our attorneys.
- Marketing/Business Development: You will work closely with our M&A marketing team to develop strategies for promoting our M&A practice, assist in the creation of content for pitches and presentations, and help to identify new business opportunities.
- Assisting with Individual Attorney Requests: You will assist our attorneys with their day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resources.
- New Initiatives: You will be involved in resource knowledge management and practice innovation projects, and will be expected to contribute to the development of new initiatives and ideas.
Requirements:
- Experience: You must have at least 7 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice.
- Skills: You must have strong drafting and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Education: You must be a licensed attorney.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $275,000 to $335,000, depending on your experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
