Job Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues, patients, and families.
- 2 years of experience as an ER Registered Nurse.
- Current ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
- Ability to work 3 or 4 x 12-hour night shifts per week.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend.
- Ability to float between similar units as needed.
Providence Saint Peter Hospital is a short-term acute care hospital with 325 total staffed beds. We are a level 1 stroke and cardiac center and a level III trauma center, but function as a level II. We are the largest hospital in our region and see approximately 170 patients per day of all ages.
