Important Requirements:

Role Overview:
  • Facilitates the coordination of strategic and operational planning for joint fires, targeting, capability alignment, and threat management in support of the Cyber Mission Force and allied operations.
  • Advises leadership on the principles of the Joint Targeting Cycle, ensuring a focused, effects-based, interdisciplinary, and systematic approach.
  • Plans and recommends necessary policies, regulations, and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of joint fires coordination and execution.
  • Supports Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) target nomination and planning throughout the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP).
  • Synchronizes Special Access Program/Special Technical Operation (SAP/STO) capabilities with operational planning.
  • Participates actively in exercises as a primary contributor to Joint Targeting and Fires.
  • Coordinates targeting strategy development with various components and commands.
  • Implements targeting methodologies and prioritization methods with stakeholders.
  • Assists in advanced cyber targeting, including interagency planning and joint targeting board support.
  • Conducts assessments and analyses to shape targeting methodologies for target development.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Creates documentation including lessons learned and results in collaboration with organizations such as DOD and Federal Agencies.
  • Delivers scheduled and ad hoc briefings on Cyberspace Operations.
  • Conducts briefings for senior personnel on USCYBERCOM Fires processes.
  • Serves as Senior Fires support during exercises.
  • Develops joint targeting policies and procedures.
  • Advises on processes and procedures for the Joint Targeting Coordination Board (JTCB).
Qualifications (Required):
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in Fires and/or Targeting.
  • At least DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
