Physician Affiliate Group of New York Seeks Academic Hospitalist

We are seeking an Academic Hospitalist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. As a member of our hospital's academic medicine program, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.
Responsibilities- Clinical care for underserved populations in the Bronx
- Flexible scheduling options to meet applicant needs
- Supervision of Medical Residents, Medical Students, and PA students
- Education and mentorship of medical students from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and City University School of Medicine
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including:
- Annual Base Salary: $193,418 (board eligible); $199,220 (board certified)
- Estimated annual total value of compensation package: $308,279 (board eligible) and $314,662 (board certified)
- 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets
- 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately vested, with an additional 7% after one year of service
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days
- Top-tier medical, prescription, and dental coverage
- Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000)
