Pet Groomer/ Stylist

The Pet Groomer/ Stylist is a key member of our team at Woofdorf Astoria, responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry clients. As a skilled professional, you will work closely with our pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience for each pet.

• Provide high-quality grooming services, including baths, trims, and styling, to meet the specific needs of each pet.
• Work closely with pet owners to understand their preferences and requirements, ensuring a personalized experience for each pet.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to our resort's standards of cleaning and disinfecting.
• Monitor pet health and well-being during grooming, reporting any concerns to the General Manager and pet owners.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their pet's grooming and any additional services recommended.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and a positive experience for all pets and their owners.

• Professional grooming certifications preferred but not required.
• Two to four years of professional grooming experience.
• Strong knowledge of individual breed standards and breed cuts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple pets and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
