Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Service Operations Manager to join our team at JX Truck Center. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities of our mechanics, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the daily activities of our mechanics, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Discuss vehicle problems with customers, diagnose repairs, and delegate work assignments to technicians.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs as needed, and supervise and assist other technicians as required.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to technicians, and delegate or personally test-drive all repaired vehicles in the shop.
  • Enforce safety policies in the shop area and maintain good customer relations.
  • Determine the method of repair for shop equipment and fill in for the Service Advisor as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, additional trade school training preferred.
  • Five to seven years of related experience in truck service operations.
  • Mechanical and refinishing knowledge required.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
