JOB SUMMARY
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Housekeeper Janitor plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors at Centinela Skilled Nursing & Wellness Centre West. This position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that adhere to established protocols.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. **Cleaning Duties**: Execute cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic and comfortable atmosphere, following the guidelines set forth by the organization.
2. **Communication**: Engage in meetings and training sessions as necessary to stay informed about best practices and updates in procedures.
3. **Reporting**: Timely report any issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor to ensure prompt resolution.
4. **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and services rendered, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English is essential for effective communication.
- Previous experience in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
