About the Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Bala Cynwyd, PA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
  • Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
  • Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • An extensive tool box of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • State inspection license(s).
  • ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
