Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Test and Development Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Manufacturing Operations Test Engineering Team in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for RF and digital hardware
  • Troubleshoot and support RF and digital hardware, including hands-on testing and troubleshooting
  • Support First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY) and hardware deliveries, analyzing test data and identifying early trends
  • Collaborate with design engineering to develop and implement hardware improvements and solutions
  • Support technicians through troubleshooting and training, monitoring product yields and maintaining program yield targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, plus 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field, plus 0 years of experience
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, and block diagrams
  • Experience with RF hardware and software, including RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and guidance
  • Experience with FPGA, LabWindows CVI, C/C++ programming, TestStand programming, and proficiency with digital, analog, RF test equipment, RF theory, and high-speed digital

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $83,300 - $124,900, with the potential for a discretionary bonus and Long Term Incentives.
