Overview
The National Medical Association is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team in the Department of Surgery. Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiac surgeries, including heart transplants and ventricular assist device implantations.
- Contribute to the growth and development of disease-based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.
- Participate in medical student and resident education, and contribute to the development of academic programs.
- Collaborate with the Division's research program to develop and implement research initiatives.
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Additional training in Heart Transplant, Ventricular Assist Device, Heart Failure would be valuable.
- Experience in an academic setting is preferred.
- Leadership positions are available.
