Overview

The National Medical Association is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Cardiovascular Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team in the Department of Surgery. Responsibilities

• Perform complex cardiac surgeries, including heart transplants and ventricular assist device implantations.
• Contribute to the growth and development of disease-based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery.
• Participate in medical student and resident education, and contribute to the development of academic programs.
• Collaborate with the Division's research program to develop and implement research initiatives.

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery.
• Additional training in Heart Transplant, Ventricular Assist Device, Heart Failure would be valuable.
• Experience in an academic setting is preferred.
• Leadership positions are available.
