Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Respiratory Care Services department, you will provide high-quality patient care and diagnostic services in a fast-paced critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care treatment and diagnostic services to patients in critical care areas, including NICU, PICU, and adult critical care units.
- Conduct clinical assessments, make appropriate clinical decisions, and provide respiratory treatment and care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Perform blood gas analysis, including stick, draw, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care practices and technologies.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
- California Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year RCP critical care experience within NICU and/or PICU, High Risk Deliveries.
- 2 years RCP adult critical care experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
- Coursework/Training: Graduated from a COARC accredited respiratory care program.
- NBRC Credentials i.e., ACCS, CPFT, RPFT, SDS upon hire.
- Instructor Provider for ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS upon hire.
- 3 years RCP critical care experience within NICU and/or PICU, High Risk Deliveries.
