Position Overview

Your Career

Step into a pivotal role as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance Engineering within the Prisma Cloud QA team, where you will lead testing initiatives for security-focused software and engage actively in product design. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive testing strategy for a wide-ranging feature, ensuring adherence to rigorous security protocols. Collaborate intimately with development teams to enhance product quality. This position also provides an opportunity to broaden your expertise by managing security testing procedures, mentoring team members, and contributing significantly to the organization's overall cybersecurity framework.

Your Contributions

  • Oversee quality within the team and proactively address issues.
  • Guide the team in quality processes and pinpoint key improvement opportunities.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, delivering features/test plans while prioritizing critical tasks.
  • Lead and mentor other managers.
  • Conduct skip-level one-on-ones as necessary.
  • Own and execute complex, critical projects.
  • Train and guide the team in effective tool and process usage, identifying impactful improvement opportunities.
  • Establish relative priorities among feature areas.
  • Supervise technical leads in designing intricate inter-team features.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles, making a significant organizational impact.
  • Collaborate closely with managers to ensure clarity and delivery, regularly interacting with senior leadership to enhance understanding.
  • Identify necessary initiatives and coordinate them across teams.
  • Incorporate customer use cases, challenges, and considerations into your work.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Enterprise Software Testing and Automation.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Demonstrated success in leading product testing for distributed systems and SaaS offerings.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects requiring extensive cross-team collaboration for successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, fostering strong relationships with team members.
  • Skilled communicator, capable of presenting internally within engineering and externally with various company groups.
  • Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, test tooling, and test automation.
  • Outstanding test design capabilities tailored for complex systems, recognized as a collaborative team player.
  • Experience with backend and frontend testing frameworks/tools, driving continuous enhancements.
  • Effective communication skills, fluent in both verbal and written English.

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $180,000/yr to $291,500/yr.
