Position Overview:

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of assembly tasks under general supervision. This role involves the assembly and sub-assembly of product components, ensuring quality and precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various assembly operations by utilizing knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Assemble components by verifying connections for proper fit and securely fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, including production operation sheets, wire lists, samples, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues by adjusting dimensions to meet specifications and collaborating with supervisors for additional resources.
  • Work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, and verbal or written instructions provided by the Lead Assembler or Supervisor.
  • Utilize hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers effectively.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and anticipating supply needs.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, refurbish, reassemble, and test instruments as necessary.
  • Perform cleaning and coating of molds for fixtures and products used in assembly.
  • Engage in the mixing and cooking of gels within a controlled laboratory setting.
