Job Title: Orthodontic Assistant

At Reed Orthodontics, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontists in delivering top-notch treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist orthodontists in preparing patients for procedures, including taking X-rays and creating molds and impressions of patients' teeth.
  • Provide chairside assistance during appointments, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress.
  • Ensure all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; RDA and/or CA certification a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
