Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Medicine Aide to join our team at Levindale Hospital. As a Certified Medicine Aide, you will assist residents with activities and daily living, provide basic and more complex nursing care, and maintain a safe and clean therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and document any discrepancies.
  • Provide basic nursing care, including bed baths, oral hygiene, and dressing residents.
  • Assist with meals and feed residents as needed.
  • Collect and transport specimens according to procedure.
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents, including bed rails and call lights.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of experience.
  • Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) Certification or Certified Medicine Aide Certification.
