About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Expert to join our team at Amentum. This position is responsible for designing and implementing software applications, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing software applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to system interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing new or existing complex software application programs and reports.
  • Ensuring automated data feeds and system interfaces are working as intended.
  • Providing technical support to our teams and ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to system interfaces.
  • Performing and overseeing commercial and developed software upgrades in accordance with software quality procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or an equivalent Information technology field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' of professional experience preferably in programming web-based software applications and designing/managing Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with administering SmartPlant design applications or other engineering design applications.
  • Knowledge of software quality engineering principles for the management, design, and testing of software desired, but not required.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $87,011.43 - $133,126.59 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan.
