Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Denver, CO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data collected and reported by the Denver Metro Social Services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and data entry oversight to HMIS end users to enhance data quality and program performance.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with program staff on HMIS program set up, data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Promote the use of HMIS and reporting accountability throughout DMSS.
  • Collaborate with Monitoring & Evaluation Manager and DMSS programs to create and update processes and policy & procedure documents related to HMIS and data collection, quality, and reporting.
  • Assess system and training needs of social services personnel in programs through interaction, periodic surveys, and other assessment tools.
  • Design and provide training to address identified needs.
  • Support Denver Metro Social Service programs with troubleshooting statistical discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience evaluated and accepted on a case-by-case basis.
  • Minimum of one year of experience with data entry using data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, or other statistical software is required. Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing data quality assurance processes. Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices is valuable.
  • Excellent report writing skills to communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
