Position Summary

We are looking for dedicated candidates for the role of Guest Services Representative at TAJ Hospitality Management. This position is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Role Description

As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional service and support. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their arrival is smooth and pleasant. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, managing check-ins, and processing payments efficiently. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Facilitating the check-in process for guests, including greeting arrivals and accurately entering guest information.
  • Recognizing and welcoming loyalty program members.
  • Providing guests with information about hotel amenities and services to enhance their stay.
  • Managing reservations, including those made through third-party platforms, and recording essential details.
  • Handling incoming calls and guest requests, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
  • Overseeing the sweet shop, ensuring it is well-stocked and managing transactions.
  • Closing shifts, including cash handling and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent experience, with a strong focus on detail and flexibility. Basic computer skills and understanding of cash handling processes are essential. A friendly disposition and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally within the hospitality industry.
