Key Responsibilities
  • Administer basic life support to patients, including CPR and first aid
  • Transport patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols
Requirements
  • EMT-B certification in the state of Missouri
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The EMT will work in a variety of settings, including emergency vehicles, hospitals, and other medical facilities. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make quick decisions, and lift up to 50 pounds. The EMT will also be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety protocols.
