Key Responsibilities: Prepares and installs trims on new heating and cooling systems in residential properties.

Detailed Duties:

  • Choose appropriate materials based on the specific product being assembled, demonstrating knowledge of ductwork materials and industry standards.
  • Install HVAC systems, including fans, grilles, dampers, wiring, and piping as per instructions.
  • May construct and install systems in manufacturing facilities or job sites according to blueprints and specifications using hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Measure, cut, and apply insulation to ductwork.
  • Braze and solder various metals to connect piping systems.
  • Interpret duct and ventilation plans accurately.
  • Utilize a ductulator to ascertain the correct duct size.
  • Run copper and drainage lines effectively.
  • Possess extensive knowledge in the fabrication and repair of duct materials, copper, and composite components.
  • Gather necessary tools to complete assigned tasks.
  • Arrive punctually at designated job sites as instructed.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Exhibit mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Foster communication and teamwork with supervisors and colleagues on-site.
  • Report any job-related or safety concerns directly to the supervisor.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, prioritizing safety above all.
  • Handle special projects as directed by management and undertake additional responsibilities as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in residential HVAC installation; two years preferred.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle operation guidelines.
  • Ability to work in attics and on roofs; must not have a fear of heights.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
