Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in conducting diagnostic laboratory tests that help detect, analyze, and treat various diseases and medical conditions.

Using advanced equipment and techniques, you will perform tests that provide detailed information to doctors and patients about different conditions, including the progress and prognosis of the patient. Your independent judgment and responsibility will be essential in consistently providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests to detect and analyze diseases and medical conditions
  • Use microscopes, chemicals, precision tools, analyzers, and computer equipment to perform tests
  • Provide detailed information to doctors and patients about different conditions
  • Use independent judgment and responsibility to consistently provide high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • Meet the training and/or experience requirements for certification as a Medical Technologist
  • Possess or be eligible for Technologist certification (BB, C, CG, CT, H, HTL, MLS, M, MB) by ASCP
  • Master's or doctorate in chemistry, biology, immunology, immunohematology, microbiology, allied health, clinical laboratory sciences, or an appropriately related field (preferred)
