About Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Jobs:

This is a temporary assignment to fill staffing gaps in the healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting and be certified as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program.
  • Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Illinois.
  • National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
