Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the evaluation of extensive software systems.
Develop comprehensive test strategies, design test cases, and promote ongoing enhancements to quality assurance methodologies utilizing cloud services, web technologies, and protocols such as HTTP, XML, HTML, Load Balancing, and DNS.
Create and implement software testing protocols using programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as AWS Lambda, while documenting and managing the execution of both manual and automated tests for intricate systems, including mobile device development kits and frameworks.
Architect and construct automated testing scenarios for mobile graphical user interfaces employing automation frameworks like Selenium and Java.
Formulate, develop, and execute quality assurance test scenarios and facilitate assessments for large-scale, distributed software architectures using Java, encompassing both white-box and black-box testing methodologies.
Collaborate closely with software engineers, business stakeholders, and customer support teams throughout the software development and testing phases, including requirements gathering and design.
Advise project management and development teams on technical matters related to the planning, development, implementation, and modification of testing processes.
Utilize functional specifications to design, create, or approve test plans, test cases, and automated testing protocols. Provide regular, detailed status updates on project advancements, including executed test cases, identified bugs, and resolved issues.Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in roles such as Programmer, Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer, or similar.
Experience should include:
Two (2) years in each of the following:
Coordinating and documenting the deployment of manual and automated testing for complex systems
Managing complete test strategies through to completion for significant components of software systems
Testing and automation for consumer-facing applications or devices
Experience in an Agile development environment
One (1) year in each of the following:
Experience with load testing
Testing across a full stack system, including Front End, Services, or databases.
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of relevant experience will be considered.
