We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN Staff Development Coordinator / CNA Instructor for Clarksburg Healthcare Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and conducting Nurse Aide training classes, developing educational materials, and ensuring staff training in identified areas of weakness.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing, maintaining all required documentation.
- Develop educational materials, manuals, and teaching aids, and maintain a resource library.
- Coordinate annual State-mandated inservicing for all employees.
- Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA's.
- Participate in Quality Improvement meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain an effective orientation program.
- Conduct and coordinate skills testing.
- Must possess a current license as a RN in the state where the center is located.
- Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Maintain 'Train The Trainer' certificate for CNA training.
- Prior experience in staff development in long term care desirable.
- Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a long-term care center.
