We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Line Supervisor to join our team at Perdue Farms. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production line, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and coordination of production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor and control production costs, ensuring that they are within budget
- Lead and motivate a team of production associates to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- 6 months of production-related experience
- Lead or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures between 28°F and 100°F, and humidity levels up to 100%
May be exposed to noise levels up to 110 dB, dust, feathers, and chemicals used in poultry processing
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the company
