Gastroenterologist Specialist

Astrana Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist Specialist to join our healthcare team in California. This physician will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional specialty medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on gastrointestinal services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard and/or advanced GI procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS with FNA, ESD, POEM, and RFA.
• Diagnose, interpret test results, and treat common acute and chronic illnesses pertaining to allergy and immunology, applying evidenced-based medical practices.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, family dynamics, and individual needs.
• Maintain patient Electronic Medical Record data.
• Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality and clinical excellence goals.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of internal medicine residency program and gastroenterology fellowship program.
• Board eligible/Board certified.
• Unrestricted California Physician License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, CA DEA certification.
• EMR proficiency.

Estimated Salary: $550,000 - $650,000 per year.
