Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in delivering patient care, monitoring and recording patient condition, and collaborating with the care team to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family
  • Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one (1) year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications as required for specific position
  • Degree from an accredited school
  • Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies
  • Ability to communicate clearly with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
