Hospitality Ambassador for Upscale Dining Experience

Hotel Carmichael seeks a skilled Server to lead and maintain seamless dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for conducting the symphony of our dining room, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well-cared for.

Responsibilities
  1. Leads guests through all aspects of the dining experience, providing exceptional food and beverage service with a high level of professionalism.
  2. Answers questions, suggests wine pairings, and creates an upbeat atmosphere for guests.
  3. Must be knowledgeable of the menu, brands, prices, and options, as well as the restaurant's promotions and specials.
  4. Takes accurate orders in the point-of-sale system and communicates allergy and dietary restriction information clearly on tickets.
  5. Retrieves and delivers food and beverage orders in a timely manner, replenishing beverages and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
  6. Serves alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  7. Clears plates at the appropriate time, always asking for help when needed.
  8. Maintains a clean and orderly serving station, keeping table areas and bar stocked and resets tables as necessary.
  9. Presents the check and handles transactions, including receiving payment and accurately counting back change.
Requirements
  • Able to obtain an Indiana Employee Liquor Permit.
  • Ability to think and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledgeable of pre-check register operation and computer ordering procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic sanitation practices.
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Estimated Salary Range

$35,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
