Job Summary

Allegra Print Mail Signs is seeking a highly skilled Bindery Operator to join our team. As a Bindery Operator, you will be responsible for completing bindery and finishing services for printed work in compliance with job specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bindery Equipment Operation
    • Operate cutter, folder, drill, stapler, numbering machine, and other bindery equipment.
    • Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.
    • Clean and maintain equipment following daily and weekly schedules.
  • Hand Work
    • Hand assemble (collate) pages in order.
    • Hand fold pages to specifications.
    • Stack and glue padding jobs.
    • Insert pages.
    • Punch and spiral bind books.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure all finished products meet quality standards.
    • Identify and report any quality issues to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma/GED with experience or vocational/technical certification.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Good mathematical skills.
    • Able to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
    • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to work station.
    • Meet or exceed minimum test results as specified by hiring manager.
  • Work Schedule
    • 8 hour shift.
    • Monday to Friday.
    • Overtime.
