Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead CNC Machinist to join our team in Rockville, MD.

About the Job

This is a lead role for a rapidly growing R & D company that requires the right candidate to develop and execute machined part fabrication projects. The successful candidate will oversee daily activities of department machinists and ensure output meets expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of machined part fabrication including materials, programming, tooling, simulation, setup, inspection, and execution.
  • Oversight of daily activities of department machinists ensuring output meets expectations.
  • Lead MasterCAM program development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • An Associate's degree in a technical discipline or a vocational/technical school degree, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of twelve years machining experience required.
  • A minimum of ten years CNC programming experience.
  • A minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
