Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven project professional to spearhead implementation initiatives within our expanding software and services organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software deployments, encompassing requirements analysis, environment configuration, installation, customization, training, and ongoing support.

The Software Implementation Specialist (SIS) will play a pivotal role within the Litigation team, responsible for delivering contracted solutions, including reports, business rules, and software configurations. The SIS will serve as the primary liaison for clients, overseeing and executing various activities throughout the configuration process. This role demands expertise in Journal Technologies' product offerings, internal implementation methodologies, and client business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure case management software utilizing the built-in administrative interface, including forms, searches, and workflows.
  • Develop business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity.
  • Collect specifications and oversee data conversion processes.
  • Engage in document and report specification gathering, development, and review.
  • Provide onsite administrative and user training, along with go-live support.
  • Demonstrate fluency in Java.
  • Possess knowledge of Windows Server environments and networking.
  • Understand interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles.
  • A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience with relational database querying, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Implementation Specialist in a comparable environment.
  • Ability to maintain focus and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL or Oracle databases, along with reporting tools such as Jasper or Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Java, Groovy, and Velocity.
  • Exhibit strong learning agility and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Recognize and escalate procedural issues as they arise.
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts in diverse situations.
