Job Title: Software Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team at Mastercard. As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers, and governments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive best SDLC practices, including exploratory and CI/CD enabled automated testing, to deliver high-quality software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using modern programming languages and technologies.
  • Ensure software applications meet Mastercard's standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • Four-year degree in a related field, certifications, or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Angular, or NodeJS.
  • Proficient communication skills with verbal and written English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience testing across various platforms, including web and mobile user interfaces, APIs, and data warehouse reports.
  • Experience with unit testing, TDD, and BDD in software development processes.
  • Experience in software development to build and use automation frameworks, such as JUnit, Selenium, and JBehave.
